Mah Jongg

Enjoy playing Mah Jongg with friends and develop your skills! Newcomers are always welcome. Mah Jongg is played with four players, and a fifth person may be a bettor. The object of modern American (sometimes called "Jewish") Mah Jongg is to make tiles match up with a hand on a Mah Jongg card. This group follows the modern American rules and uses the card from the National League.

Mondays, 1:00-4:00pm

$10/quarter for JCC Members, $15/quarter General.

For more information, please contact Florence Borkon at feigel93@sonic.net or 510-849-1109.

Bridge Club

A friendly group of 8-12 folks (Jewish and non-Jewish) who play standard American bridge with a few easy conventions: Stayman, Jacoby transfer, weak two bids. Players from all over the East Bay join in the game. All ages welcome, no partner needed. We can't guarantee good cards, but we can promise some camaraderie and fun!

Wednesdays, 7:00-10:00pm

$2/night

If you would like to play and need transportation, let us know. For more information, please contact Ethel Murphy at emurphy@california.com.
